Program Details
The program is designed as a general management program covering all the functional areas of the management with a proper blending of conceptual and quantitative inputs. The course is intended to develop an integrated perspective of the total managerial function and give the participant a solid foundation necessary for assuming higher managerial responsibilities.

Program Duration
The course is of two years duration.

Eligibility & Registration
  • Graduates (any field) of University of Mumbai or any other recognized University with minimum one year work experience.
  • Candidates who are graduates of the University of Mumbai will be required to register as a post graduate student of the university on payment of Rs. 825/- or any amount fixed by the University.
  • No student will be allowed to pursue any other course of the University of Mumbai or any other University simultaneously with D.M.S. course.

Program Design and Structure
The DMS Program will be conducted on a semester basis. There will be four semesters. The duration of each semester shall be 15 working weeks.

The subjects taught in each of the four semesters are as given below:-

Tuition and Other Fees
Tuition and Other fees are fixed by the University. Breakup of fees for the two years are as follows:-

  • The fees can be revised by the University at any time without notice.
  • Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • Tuition fees, for candidates who are not students of Mumbai University will be accepted only after a provisional eligibility certificate is produced by the candidate.
  • Students have to pay University exam fees separately (Semester wise).
Program Schedule & Timing
  • Classes will be held from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm on four days in a week.
  • Each paper will be taught in 15 sessions of 180 minutes each.
  • Lectures for first & third semester will be from June to October and for second & fourth will be from December to March.
  • The first and third semester examination will be held in December and the second and forth semester examination will be held in May every year.
Transfers
Candidates shall not be permitted to transfer from one college to another during the tenure of the course.
