Advanced Certificate Programs in Management
Examination & Evaluation Criteria
  • The examination is carried out on a flexible & convenient online system, based on semester pattern at Aptech Centres. It is held in the month of December & May/June every year. The duration of each exam is 1 hour.
  • Online exams will be given in English only.
  • Students must carry their tuition cum examination fee receipt and I-Card at the time of examination.
  • Detailed schedule of the examination and Personal Contact Program lectures will be conveyed to the students well in advance. The same will be uploaded on the website.
  • The exam time-table will be put up on the website of the institute a month prior to the exam.
  • The students who secure 50% marks are declared successful in that subject. The results are declared within 30 days from the last date of the examination period.
  • The student who does not appear for the examination or who gets less than 50 marks in a particular subject, can re-appear for the examination in the next semester by filling the re-examination form along with the fee of Rs. 100/- per subject, a month prior to the examination.
  • If a student is not able to appear or has failed in the examination of a particular course within three years, he should re-register his name by paying Rs. 250/- as re-registration fees along with re-exam fees of Rs. 100/- per subject.
  • Those students who are declared successful in all the papers of a particular diploma course will be awarded Diploma from Welingkar Institute of Management during the convocation.
  • The student will be graded on the basis of aggregate marks obtained as under:-

65% and above A+
60% to 64.99% A
55% to 59.99% B+
50% to 54.99% B


Other Information
Once the student successfully completes the examination of subjects of a particular Advanced Certificate Course in Management, he is declared as a successful candidate in that Course. The student can then register himself for the second Advanced Certificate Course in Management. He is not required to appear for the examination of those subjects in which he has already secured 50% or more marks in the examination of the first Advanced Certificate Course in Management. He has to appear for the examination of only those subjects which are additional or new subjects in the second Advanced Certificate Course in Management. He has to pay the entire fees of the second Advanced Certificate Course in Management even if he has already cleared some of the subjects of the second Advanced Certificate Course while completing the previous Advanced Certificate Course.

Students who have completed the Advanced Certificate Course of our institute can enroll themselves for the Six Months Diploma Course. They can also enroll themselves for the One Year Diploma Course if they are final year students. Such students will be exempted from the common papers. They will not be required to reappear for those papers which they have already passed in the Advanced Certificate Course. They should appear only in remaining papers. They should pay the full course fee for the Six Months /One year Diploma Course of this Institute.

The mark list for such student who has enrolled for the One Year Diploma Course will be issued but the Diploma will only be awarded after he/she produces final year degree mark list/certificate. An undertaking to this effect will be taken from the student.

Convocation
The Annual Convocation of the Institute for awarding Certificates to the successful candidates would be held every year in March/April only. The same will be intimated to you in February/March. Students can attend the convocation and receive the diploma at the hands of Chief Guest.

Students who are unable to attend the convocation can collect their Certificate after the week of Convocation from the office.
