Program Details
This is a two year PG Diploma program offered in the distance learning mode. The curriculum is at par with the Distance Learning MBA offered by leading Universities. The two year program is divided into 4 semesters. The registration validity of these 2 year PG programs is 3 years. The registration validity is subject to payment of full program fees as per the payment schedule. While the program duration is of 2 years only, the additional one year is given to students to submit/clear all pending exams/project report.

Salient features of the program
First two semesters are generic, common to all and cover general topics of management. The last two semesters contain specialization related subjects.

Specialization
Second Year is for the specialization. There will be 5 Subjects in Semester III & 3 Subjects + 1 Project Report in Semester IV

The student needs to completely clear at least 8 papers from the 1st year before she/he can proceed to the 2nd year. However students can complete their academic requirements at their own pace during the registration validity period.

Fee Structure
  • The program fees for 2 years amounts to US $2000 or Rs. 90,000/-. The entire amount has to be paid at the time of enrollment itself, as there are no options for half-yearly or yearly payment.
  • The program fees include cost of study materials and examination fees.
  • The program material for each semester will be couriered to overseas students semester-wise.
  • Exams as well as assignments will be conducted online for overseas students.
  • In case the student fails, needs or wishes to reappear for the exam/assignments, then a flat additional fee of US $ 50 per semester is payable irrespective of the number of subjects/assignments the student wishes to reappear.
Mode of Payment for all Types of Fees
  • Program Fees, Late Fees, Additional specialization and other fees may be paid either by Local Cheque or by Demand Draft.
  • Cheque/Demand Drafts should be made in favour of "Welingkar Institute of Management' payable in Mumbai.
  • Cheque should be locally drawn in Mumbai or should be at par cheques. No outstation cheque will be accepted.
  • In case, the cheque bounces, students will have to pay the applicable cheque bouncing charges.
  • Students are required to write their name, program name, admission no (if student Id-card has been issued to them) and their contact number on the reverse side of the cheque/demand draft.
Eligibility
  • Graduates from any recognized university.
  • Diploma holders from any recognized polytechnic with 3 years of supervisory work experience post diploma.
  • Final year degree student. However, their admission will be confirmed only on submission of the attested Xerox copies of their degree certificates/final year mark sheets within 60 days of admission.
Required Documents
  • Foreign address is mandatory with proof of address or copies of passport pages showing entry to the foreign country.
  • For NRI enrollments, a photocopy of the visa is mandatory.
Enrollment
  • There will be four batches each year.
  • Duly filled in application form along with the enclosures must reach the institute on or before last date of submission.
