Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration -- (PGDBA - DLP)
Examination and Evaluation Criteria
  • In every semester, there is a mid-term exam and a semester exam. All exams are application oriented and have objective type question papers to test the analytical ability of the student.
  • Students will be able to give exams from their respective countries. Separate links and password etc. are provided for the same.
  • For each subject portion is divided into two parts. Mid-term exam is based on few initial chapters and semester exam is based on the balance chapters.
  • Both mid-term as well as semester exams are of 50 marks. However, mid-term assignment carries about 20% weightage and semester exam carries 80% weightage. To clear a subject, a student has to secure minimum 50% weightage marks which are a total weightage percentage of both the exams.
  • Mid-term exams can be given from any place through on-line mode during specified days. Students should ensure that un-interrupted power supply and continuous internet connectivity is there while giving exams. In case of failure of power/Internet connectivity rescheduling of exams can be done. However, this arrangement is provided only once for any kind of exams after DUE VERIFICATION.
  • During the fourth Semester, each student is required to submit a project report on any of the topics from the list given by the institute.
  • The Program Fees are inclusive of mid-term as well as end semester exam fees. The exam fees are valid and applicable to the exams of the semester for the batch in which the student is enrolled. However, in case a student has not appeared for the examination even though he has made booking for the same, or failed in a specific subject, he shall be eligible for re-examination in those subjects.
  • After joining the program, if a student takes a break and re-joins the program at a later date but during the registration validity period, he will have to pay re-exam fees for the subjects of the missed semesters. Re-examination means the permission granted to the student for appearing for exam in the specific subject/ s in which she/he was absent failed (i.e. student has given both mid term and end semester exams but failed or student had appeared only for the mid term exam but not the end semester exam) or taken a break between semesters and now wants to give exams of the pending semesters.
Note: If the student takes a break in the middle of the program thereby breaking the flow of semester pattern and rejoins the program at a later date, then the student is bound by the fees and regulations prevalent at that time.
