First and foremost I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to each and everyone of our stakeholders- our corporate and academic partners, alumni, faculty and students who have believed in us and supported us through our journey of becoming world class management institute. While penning this note as I reflect on the year gone by, it gives me great pleasure to recount some of our milestones that have equipped us to remain at the forefront of the world of management education.

We launched our new centre in our Bangalore with our speciality programs in e-biz and retail management. We progressed to increase our global presence through new partnerships and agreements with esteemed international Universities.

We developed technological superiority, strengthened our intellectual capital by recruiting more dedicated and highly qualified faculty and networked extensively to increase our industry interface. Our efforts did not go unnoticed. We were pleasantly awarded with the award for the Best Management Institute in Mumbai-2004 conferred upon us by the Bombay Management Association. (BMA).

With our academic foundation firmly grounded in excellence, we are now preparing to become more thoroughly international in our curriculum, our out reach, our people who teach and learn with us, so that being a global institution is not an add-on, but an intrinsic part of everything we do. Hence at Welingkar, we are constantly challenging ourselves to integrate the needs of our students and their future employers into our curriculum. Nothing at Welingkar is taken for granted, nothing is accepted simply because of the past. Evaluations, delivery methodology, sequence of courses, even the content , and nature of courses are all reviewed on a continuous cycle to ensure that the education delivered is top notch, current and absolutely relevant to our students and the globally challenging business world.
